About Holgersdotter

The notions behind Holgersdotter’s designs often originate from inherited, antique pieces and from discarded items or findings in flea markets. Anything that can experience another life in new innovative shapes and forms is a source of creativeness, whether the inspiration comes from grandma’s old coffee cups or from recycled silk ribbons from India’s textile industry.

Textiles are the primary materials in most of our designs and many beautiful fabrics are discovered on trips all over the world. Holgersdotter’s creations discern from all things ordinary. Bright colors and an almost childish playfulness are important features in everything we make. In order to give each object a palpable character, different structures and materials come together to form an eclectic expression – organza vs. wool, hard vs. soft and strict vs. romantic.

Have look at Holgersdotter’s creative designs here and if you are in the neighborhood we recommend a visit to our showroom.
